How do I make an online memorial or tribute donation?

If you are making a donation in memory of someone who does not already have a memorial page, please click to make a general donation and fill out the tribute information at the bottom of the page.

Will the family know I made a gift in honour of their loved one?

When you make a memorial gift, a letter is sent to the designated person or family in recognition of your gift. The amount of your gift will not be disclosed and you will receive a tax receipt. Donations to the Calgary Health Foundation may be directed to an area of health care that is meaningful to you, or you may want to support greatest needs to ensure that funding is available where it is needed most.

You can also send an e-card when you make your donation online.

What information do I need to include in an obituary?

If you wish to name Calgary Health Foundation as a benefactor in a printed obituary, the following is an example of wording that can be used: In lieu of flowers please send a donation to Calgary Health Foundation in support of (area of donor’s interest)
